Staff Induction and Training Programs

All staff members, including educators and administration, undergo a comprehensive induction process outlined in our induction procedures. Regular training in key capability areas is provided, with the Director determining training needs based on annual performance reviews. Staff are required to complete annual training, which includes CPR (annually), First Aid (every three years for those needing renewal), Anaphylaxis, Asthma, and Child Protection. Additionally, staff have opportunities to participate in training and development activities relevant to their roles each year, which may include on-the-job training, internal or external courses, attendance at conferences or seminars, and coaching or mentoring programs. Continuous Quality Improvement

The Quality Improvement Plan outlines how New Horizon FDC Service ensures ongoing quality service delivery and compliance. The Director, management team, and educators collaborate in the annual review and planning of all services. Before these reviews, we gather feedback from family and staff meetings, training sessions, and surveys, along with insights from performance appraisals and informal discussions.
